Wythe County Democratic Committee

We are an all volunteer organization of politically-active members of the Wythe County Community.  We are the official local branch organization of the Virginia Democratic Party and the Democratic Party as a whole.  The purpose of our organization is to rally supporters behind issues and candidates that support our shared vision of the future.  We help nominate local Wythe County candidates and mobilize support for district-wide, state-wide, and national elections.

Democratic Engagement - Works with Strong Democratic Voters to encourage them to vote early, volunteer, run for office, and build the local party.

Democratic Turnout - Works with Likely and Strong Democrats who do not regularly turnout to vote to reduce barriers to voting.

Democratic Messaging - Work with Lean Democrats, Independents, and Lean Republicans to convince them to support Democratic candidates.
